Hybrid IT provider gains high scores to top all vendors for Europe

LONDON – CenturyLink has been ranked No. 1 for Europe in a cloud performance and value comparison report by Cloud Spectator, a well-known cloud benchmarking and consulting agency focused on Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) performance. The study compared nine major IaaS vendors with data centres in Europe and examined metrics including performance of vCPU, memory, block storage and pricing for each element.

In order to be ranked in the report, providers must have at least one European data centre and offer a self-service and sign-up portal, hourly billing intervals and block storage. Pricing and performance were analysed across a number of metrics.
