KISTA, Sweden – (July 8, 2015) – Munters AB today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire HB Group (www.hbgroup.nl), an international company that specializes in customized hygienic climate control systems for the food/dairy industries. HB Group has locations in Almelo, the Netherlands (headquarters, with sales and manufacturing) and a Joint Venture in Hrusky, Czech Republic (manufacturing facility).
Munters is a global leader and premium partner in energy efficient air treatment solutions. Using innovative technologies, the group’s expert engineers create the perfect climate for customers in a wide range of industries, with the largest being the food, pharmaceutical and data center sectors. The agreement combines the strength of Munters and HB Group by leveraging Munters’ large sales channel, software tools, service reach and operational excellence and HB Group’s application knowledge, product offering and customer base.

During July, Ark Data Centres made rapid progress at their dedicated data centre campus in Wiltshire.
The steelworks for the second phase of Data Centre SQ17 have been erected in just two weeks, following the resolution of an issue concerning unexpected ground conditions that caused an initial delay.
Work commenced in early April 2013 and the entire shell and core are due for completion in December 2013.

Ark Data Centres today announces that its latest data centre facility at Cody Park, A101, is being handed over to customers as contracted.
The first module of Data Centre A101, a two-storey facility consisting of two separate and secure Data Rooms each supporting 750kW of IT load, is set in its own compound within a secure campus adjacent to Cody Technology Park.
A101, once complete, will comprise of a state of the art Data Centre with six Data Rooms providing space for up to 1176 cabinets, at an average 4.2kW per cabinet, over 42 discrete Aisles. Each module construction occurs in phases and will not affect the existing modules in any way. Built aligned to Ark’s Sustainable principles the facilities at Cody Park are on course to receive a BREEAM certification of Very Good.

After being awarded inclusion for its PowerWAVE 6000, 8000 and 9000 UPS products, UPSL, a Kohler company, is now uniquely placed to assist customers in finding tailored solution for their specific requirements, whilst also reducing the impact of capital expenditure and on-going operating costs, as well as enabling increased efficiency and a reduced carbon footprint.
UPSL, recognised as a leading provider of power protection product and service solutions, revealed the list of UPS systems that have now been included on the ETL, which is operated and managed by the UK’s Carbon Trust.

Ark Data Centres today announce that its latest data centre facility at Cody Park, A101, has successfully completed IST ahead of schedule.
Site enabling works began in December 2012 and eight weeks later, on the 28th February, the deployment of the Data Rooms commenced. Despite the challenging weather conditions throughout the cold, wet winter and spring, Ark delivered module one of Data Centre A101 in just 18 weeks from release of the concrete slab, on programme and to budget. Customer handover is set for 1st August 2013.
This first module, a two-storey facility consisting of two separate and secure Data Rooms each supporting 750kW of IT load, is set in its own compound within a secure campus adjacent to Cody Technology Park, which is home to Data Centre A9, another Ark facility which has been operational since December 2011.

PFM, The Premises and Facilities Management publication will today announce online, that the partnership of Ark and Norland Managed Services has been shortlisted in the PFM Awards 2013 category ‘Partners in Expert Services – IT’.
The short-listing is for the partnership between Ark, who design, construct and operate high security data centres and Norland Managed Services, who work with Ark to provide critical engineering and maintenance services. Norland provide services, which include a planned maintenance programme and 24-hour support at each of Ark’s data centres.
