A recent independent report by leading IT research and advisory company, 451 Research, pays homage to Smart Carbon Control’s (SCC) innovation within the data centre management industry, highlighting their exceptional ability to present data via their bespoke data integration and management platform, I2M®.
Established in 1991, SCC is one of the longest established companies within the data centre management software market, but as 451 Research reports, its approach is anything but ‘trailing’. In fact, 451 describes SCC’s recent work with UK-based energy management guru Vilnis Vesma as ‘an example of its capability and unique approach’.
At the heart of SCC’s approach is a data integration and management platform known as I2M®, which focuses on capturing data from multiple disparate systems and presenting it in a useful, meaningful way to provide a real-time monitoring and management solution for IT, facility and energy subsystem infrastructures.
The report refers to SCC’s graphical representation of data centre operational management as ‘one of the most useful that we have seen’, bearing testimony to the company’s commitment to providing its clients with the best management data available to allow effective monitoring of critical assets and energy consumption.
Having spent several years developing the I2M® platform, SCC’s investment and expertise is now reaping rewards and the company has recently secured a five-year contract to supply data integration products and services to a large European data centre operator, with further growth anticipated.
Committed to a policy of continuous improvement, SCC welcomes 451 Research’s report as recognition of their efforts to innovate and excel, push back boundaries to present data in a meaningful way, and bring its range of innovative services to a wider audience.
