As a result of discussions at the Energy Efficiency group meeting – a focus Group of “DCIM”, monitoring and BMS experts is required to participate at a “brainstorm” workshop to develop a basic vendor neutral guideline paper to advise how users set about exploiting the now widely available DCIM tools from an energy saving perspective.
The output is designed to assist users, as well as satisfy requests from SDO’s and best practice committees.
The objective of this meeting is to develop a draft for wider circulation and comment.
The room booked at University of East London is ideal for a workshop with around 10 participants.
Agenda:
Introductions and workshop to discuss but not limited to:
- How to identify the problem, and how it is to be solved?
- How to establish that “DCIM” can solve the problem?
- What are the common pitfalls?
- What is best practice?
- What are the risks to be considered?
- How a user should engage with suppliers?
- How to measure success?
- How does a user calculate the ROI?
