Data Centre Standards and Guidelines
The data centre is a complex infrastructure governed by a wide range of influences. Many helpful guides are available that provide advice and assistance when designing, building and operating a data centre. Although there may be some that are not up to date or relevant to your particular facility, there is a good range of helpful information that can be found if you know where to look. DCA Members have compiled a directory of commonly found and referenced standards and guidelines with weblinks for easy reference and research.
Please note, the DCA does not necessarily recommend, endorse or is responsible for the content of third party websites or guides listed, the lists are not exhaustive and are intended to represent commonly found guidelines or standards that influence the data centre industry. The information has been gathered from public domain information and represents the interpretation of the researcher(s), therefore any corrections or amendment requests will be dealt with quickly and promptly by the DCA by contacting us here
If you are a DCA member and would like to add/amend or comment on the list please use our member feedback form here
There are two lists, firstly standards and guidelines that are specific to data centres, secondly standards and guidelines that although can be applied to other industries and sectors, are commonly adopted by data centre operations or requested by users/buyers.
